Spring is in the air; my favorite time of the year! After this long, cold winter, I've been able to spend a few days outside cleaning up my flower beds. January, February, and March are my painting months, so the cold weather hasn't been a bother to me. When I take my coffee up to my warm, cozy studio turn on all the lights I am able to lose myself in my world of creating. I've done a lot of commissioned work this winter, which can become a little stressful because I want to please my customers in painting what they are looking for. Most recently I've been painting and preparing for my upcoming summer art shows. As always, Terry is working hard gearing up for this summer's events. His jobs are endless and I appreciate all the hard work he does.
I have to mention our first grandchild; little Colby is now eight months old, crawling all over the place, and pulling himself up onto furniture. He is so precious and we're having so much fun with him. Amy just had a twenty-fifth, surprise birthday party for Anthony, our oldest son. Even though we weren't able to completely surprise him everyone had a lot of fun. Well I need to get back to my studio; hope so see a lot of you this summer at my art shows.
