Buggy Jam - Amish Mud Sale Oil Painting

Here a group of buggies at the Mud Sale, all alike and jammed together, become a design element of their own.  The touches of bright red add contrast to the blues and greys of the Amish figures and shapes. The viewpoint is from inside one of the buggies, looking out after the rain. Again, Julia combines a modern dripping paint technique, used to portray the feel of the rain, to the traditional subject matter.
