Inspired by a trip to Perth, Canada, this painting of a massive old stone building that is now a cafe with shops captures both time periods beautifully. The triangular red umbrellas over the tables work as a design element against the cool, grey stone of the centuries old building. The angle of the painting draws us in, as if we too were tourists in this mountain retreat.
