A companion piece to her other early watercolor, "Eggplant," this work showcases smooth red onions against the veins of the cabbage and mushrooms rolling nearby. The green and red colors complement each other wonderfully, and it is fantastic to let the eye flow from the tiny veins to the white fade out in the bottom corner, like an explosion of light.
