Description
A watercolor painting of pink and red Hibiscus flowers by artist Julia Swartz. I painted this Hibiscus watercolor right after I was finished with chemotherapy treatments for lymphoma. In this watercolor painting the sun had just come out. It seems so bright after a storm, and that's the way I was feeling. Life had a whole new meaning and I was very thankful and ready to move on with a whole new focus on life. Physically, my body was still weak and I had many pains in my joints, which was from the chemo. The raindrops represent the effects of chemo. But as the sun continues to shine the raindrops quickly evaporate just as my body got stronger and stronger and free from pain. Today I am back to normal and I thank God for being with me through the whole ordeal and eventually healing my body completely. Cancer story.
