This palette knife oil painting was created right on the boardwalk in Ocean City, N.J. The view of bright beach umbrellas and cool ocean water inspired Julia as she painted from her canopy at the art show where she was selling her work that day. Broad, multi-directional strokes capture the light and sense of activity on a hot beach day.
