Have you ever been to the beach in the fall, after the crowds are gone and the temperatures are cooler? This painting is from one of those times. We were riding tandem recumbent bicycle on the boardwalk at Bethany Beach when Julia suddenly said stop! It was not an emergency. Julia had just spotted another inspiration for a painting. After 47 years of marriage to this amazing lady, I'm no longer surprised by these call outs. Wherever we go, whatever we do, Julia usually finds some new inspiration that cries out to be captured on canvas!
