Mason jars are a part of Amish life, and Julia loves to paint reflections in glass. Adding a beautiful crimson-red rose from her own bouquet, Julia used a palette knife to create this smaller painting, alive with thick paint strokes and reflections of the aqua-blue glass and water in the vase.
