Description
A light and airy watercolor painting of Queen Anne's Lace by Julia Swartz. Queen Anne's Lace has always intrigued me ever since I was a little girl. They are so delicate and beautiful. How could they be considered a weed. I wanted to capture they're beauty so I stopped along the road and cut a handful. I put them in a vase and created this painting from them. I remember I was studying composition at that time and I like the composition of this painting. I won first prize at a show at the Lancaster County Art Association with this watercolor painting.
