Description
In this palette knife oil painting, rows of thick clouds seem to turn into waves in the evening sunset. Here there is a contrast between the soft materiality of clouds and the thickness of paint that nonetheless describes them beautifully. The makeup of the clouds ceases to matter, and they come forth as a field of color.
